"He beat me 6–0, 6–0 the first time I ever played him — and that motivated me to get better. When he graduated I was lucky enough to hit with him, and we've been playing two or three times a week ever since. He's taught me a lot of technique, but the most important thing is something he always says: accelerate through the ball. If everything else goes wrong but you're swinging fast, the ball will go in. That's one of the best pieces of advice I've ever had."

Sessions are based in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles.
All levels — from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Joey tailors every session to where you are now and where you want to go. No experience necessary to start.
Standard sessions are 60 minutes. Extended 90-minute sessions are available for players who want to cover more ground or work on match-play scenarios in depth.
Most players see the strongest results with 2–3 sessions per week. Even once a week produces consistent improvement when combined with quality practice time on your own.
Each session is structured around your specific goals — technical analysis, stroke mechanics, footwork, strategy, or match-play situations. No two sessions are identical. Joey builds each one around what you need that day.
Yes — small group sessions (2–4 players) are available and can be a great way to work on competitive drills and match scenarios with others at a similar level.
